Abertay University is inviting applications for a fully funded MProf Food & Drink Innovation (Packaging & Sustainability) which is available on a two year part time basis (one day per week) starting in September.
This post graduate programme is designed to support companies in the Scottish food and drink industry build capacity, drive business development and increase productivity and performance. The university states:
"In this increasingly complex, interconnected, dynamic and globally competitive world, the food and drink industry must expand its ambitions to educate and skill its workforce beyond a level of compliance only, as highly skilled, educated and creative human capital is the very lifeblood of innovation. To support this, Abertay has introduced this new accessible programme to support companies of all sizes operating in the food and drink industry train key members of staff."
The programme is designed to benefit participating food and drink companies in the following ways:
- Training specifically related to your business needs as well as an opportunity to expand your company’s capacity for strategic leadership and entrepreneurial thinking
- A chance to get actively involved the commercial arm – Food Innovation @ Abertay with interdisciplinary researchers from across the University
- Be part of developing new sector specific insights and expertise through collaborative working and industry-linked innovative projects.
